The SugarCone P-1 12 is a particularly lovely sounding speaker. It has a sweet, round quality that I haven't heard in any other manufacturers' speakers and I've tried hundreds over the years. No matter what I did with the eq, the speaker never sounded harsh. For some of my amps, the SugarCone exaggerated the bass at my usual eq settings, but always in a way that could be dialed back to an exceptionally rich and balanced clarity. Because of its specific bass contour and well designed high end roll off, I suspect it would be an absolutely stellar speaker for Teles and bridge pickups in general. The SugarCone P-1 even made my Strat's bridge pickup sound great and that's quite an accomplishment. The speaker's roundness made the Strat's neck pickup sound gorgeous and rich without sounding muddy, more Gilmour than Hendrix. Excellent speaker.
